The Cape Fear Festival of Trees returns as one of the most heart-warming holiday traditions in our area. During the two-week festival, you are invited to wander through a winter wonderland of holiday elegance. Glittering trees decorated by local businesses, various organizations and individual artists transform the museum space into an enchanted forest.
In addition to the dazzling array of trees, enjoy performances by over 30 local musical groups and artists. Treat your ears to the wonderful sounds of harps, handbell choirs, ukulele choirs, a capella singing and more. Included in your festival admission.
New to this year’s Festival of Trees is the Art of Gingerbread 2014 – Exhibition & Competition. Running throughout the festival, between 10 and 20 incredible designs will be on view in a beautiful and tasty display of gingerbread artistry. These original baked creations will also be competing for an overall winner decided by securing the highest amount bid in an online auction process. With frivolous frosting and gumdrops galore, these gingerbread designs are guaranteed to tempt all of your senses and add some sweetness to your holiday. Included in your festival admission.
